The International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) announced on its official website that French tennis player Maxence Broville has been disqualified for seven years.
The athlete faced charges related to match-fixing in 2017 and 2018. Broughville denied all allegations and refused to cooperate with the ITIA’s investigation. The tennis player did not provide personal devices for verification. In addition to the suspension, Beauville was given a fine of $5 thousand. The period of disqualification of the French athlete starts from June 20, 2023 and ends on June 19, 2030. While suspended, Broughville is prohibited from playing, coaching or attending ITIA member tennis events.
Let us remind you that last summer, French tennis player Alexis Musialek was suspended for life for organizing match fixing.
